Analyze to celebrate vs analyze to criticize

I learned a valuable lesson from a mentor of mine years ago while my oldest was still in high school. ANALYZE to CELEBRATE!🎉😇This weekend as I watched 51 women compete for the title of Miss for America I was reminded how important that lesson is. With my daughter being Miss Utah I was so scared she would feel criticized. My momma‘s 💗 was worried that the judges would analyze to criticize and I didn’t want my girl to feel for one second she wasn‘t amazing for who she is.

I was surprised that the week was filled with women celebrating one another and celebrating their unique gifts and talents! 👸 My girl was blessed with a kind roommate and made friends for life over the week of the pageant. I showed up two decades after being crowned Mrs World in Israel and I started to analyze to criticize myself and the list of how my physical appearance had changed in two decades started to fill my mind. I stopped and went to my knees and asked for my Lord to silence the negative voices and for HIS love to calm and comfort me with truth. To fill my mind with ways to analyze to celebrate🎉 I was reminded how much I love my life, how blessed my family is, how God has shown me GRACE and the beautiful people in my life to help me heal, and teach me how to have my actions match my heart💗 I was able to be ME 👸 and rock my rolls in my mid section and my thin hair, my hyperpigmentation on my face from hours of being outdoors doing what I love and I was able to remind myself how quickly not only the world analyzes to criticize but how quickly we do it to ourselves.

I was working out with a dear friend and she said “I can’t ...” I quickly said “You are working out”👏🏻

I have heard a lot of criticism about me this summer. I had to take time to breath and have a lone time to heal🙏 I also had to take accountability for my wrong doings in ever speaking unkind words of someone else or to someone else. After all what right do I have to dislike behavior in someone else when I am guilty of the same behavior at times. While dealing with some of these painful issues I realized the lesson of analyze to celebrate goes deeper then I had thought.

It applies to forgiveness and compassion and loving others with all their imperfections. Imperfections even when they hurt you deeply. It is interesting this process of growth. Self reflection is painful and doing things that aren’t comfortable isn’t easy but life is more beautiful for it.

I watched my daughter be loved and celebrated for who she is. I saw the joy she had, she was giddy from girls wanting to be with her, and loved being liked by judges who valued her amazing self.

She beamed ☀️👸

Isn‘t That what we all want? To be giddy from all the positive affirmations we receive👍🏻 To laugh with joy and want to dance 💃🏼 From being liked for who we are, to having our burdens lifted from the healing power of love❤️

Thoughts to ponder ? Are you lighting ☀️ others?

are we making others feel giddy with the affirmations we share freely and sincerely from analyzing to celebrate?

Can we stop criticizing ourselves and start celebrating ourselves? Where we are, in the circumstances we are in today?

After all we have to have self love ❤️ before we can give love😘

This summer I have been trying to resolve some painful

issues and this past weekend at a pageant I was reminded how key ANALYZING to CELEBRATE and NOT analyzing to criticize is!!

Let me know if you have tricks to stop the negative regardless how true it is and turn your thoughts to the positive. We can all use any helpful skills.

Love to all, 😘

from the girl who is choosing to follow my heart 💗 regardless of those who choose to analyze to criticize my actions 🤷‍♀️

Rachell Hollis said it best “Other people’s opinions of you are none 👏🏻of your 👏🏻Business!”
