RENEW & REFRESH 🌈SPRING INTO JOY

Yellow vibrant daffodils, purple pansies and crocus are filling my yard with color. I love it. My heart šŸ’• finds joy in the blossoms. The trees budding and the birds waking me up in the morning with their songs. I am sleeping with my french doors open to the patio to feel the crisp spring air and to wake to the birds singing in the sunrise. I started my morning out in the hot tub this morning and loved the start to my day. Have any of you heard of all the benefits of drinking hot lemon water when you first wake up? my friend Maria Reid taught me about it and it is part of my morning routine. I enjoyed in the hot tub while watching dawn turn to dayā˜€ļø

Spring fills my heart with hope, with energy of life and good things to come. Is it a combination of natures rebirth after winter and the life of my Savior and his atonement that is celebrated at Easter? I truly love all four seasons for different reasons.

Spring for me is a renew, refresh and time to spring into JOY. Full on! Days start getting longer, warmer weather, outdoor hikes more invigorating. Setting up patio furniture to gather outdoors with family and friends. BBQ seasons arrival is enjoyed by all.

I feel like there is hope for my layers of fat (that were a joy to deposit during the winter enjoying my favorite comfort foods) will melt away over the months as I start to move with more energy while absorbing the suns rays. I have to laugh because my aging has caused it to take all of spring and summer to transfigure my comfort food form into a healthy body, but the joys of holiday food, and hot cocoa are worth every roll šŸ‘šŸ»ā˜ŗļøLiterally and figuratively šŸ˜€

Anyone love adding flowers or trees to their yard every spring? šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļøI plant my hanging plants in March at Willard Bay Gardens and love picking them up in May and adding color to my yard. I have added plants and trees over the twenty three years I have lived in my homešŸ”

Lilac trees, dogwood trees, goldchains, fruit trees, grapes, tulips, lupine, honeysuckle, butterfly bush and more. I love to garden!šŸ’ I believe that the years I worked in my soil and transforming my yard to a garden I healed my soul. Another example of Garden of Grace in my life. I look forward to the watering my plants every morning, evening and sometimes in the Utah summer heat a third time in the middle of the day. My morning routine of watering and weeding takes about an hour every morning and a little over thirty minutes at night. Watering makes my heart calm and heals any restlessness I may have. I find peace in my gardening and cherish it. What things have you started out with as an interest or a hobby and over time or repeated action you came to realize it is a gift in your life that brings you peace?

May this week bring a spring in your step, and may your soul feel the sun and THE SON as you breath in fresh spring air and stop to smell the flowers that are blooming.

My plan is to BLOG once a week on Mondays. I am so excited to see what this part of my journey blossoms into. Please share your ideas, and thoughts with me on how to make my Blog something that would edify, bring joy and support others all while being funšŸ˜€ā¤ļø

I am going to try to post pics of my yard and some plants however a friendly reminder I am still learning how to do this blog 😃 keep your fingers crossed for mešŸ¤žšŸ»

Until next week šŸ˜’šŸ’
